If you are searching for sensitive skin products for African American skin care, choose those that contain ingredients that will be effective in cleansing and moisturizing. There are some ingredients you don’t want to use on sensitive skin because they may cause de-pigmentation or hyper-pigmentation.   Choose the best products to help to protect your skin’s health and keep your skin-tone even and balanced.

Paraben products can cause de-pigmenting, and some of them have been banned from being used in European skin care products. It is still used in many other countries, so check the labels on any skin products you buy.  NYRAJU’s line of black skin care products do not have paraben as an ingredient.

Products that use petroleum as their base, including propylene glycol and wood based alcohol, can cause hyper-pigmentation, and darker spots that are not in harmony with your overall skin tone. These types of ingredients are typically found in products marketed for black skin care. Not at NYRAJU.

If you have areas  of oily skin, check the labels of the products you use, because petrochemical ingredients as well as mineral oil and petroleum can cause your skin to be overly greasy, while they don’t actually moisturize your skin properly.

Avoid black skin care products that use chemical agents that will bleach your skin. These tend to be very harsh, especially on sensitive skin. The essence of caring for black skin that is also sensitive is to select products that can be effective without being harsh.

Look for black skin care products that contain natural vitamin E, which can help to address any hyper-pigmentation areas. You may have areas that are a bit oily, and others that are mildly dry. This can be brought on by using creams or lotions that are not formulated for sensitive black skin.

Your skin can be drier in areas that are hairless, so products that contain passion fruit extract or jojoba (such as NYRAJU’s face firming serum) can be very helpful in keeping these areas well-moisturized. These black skin care products can moisturize the drier areas of your skin without causing break-outs or overall greasiness.

Sensitive skin is a condition of your skin not a skin type.  Itchy, irritated skin caused by using the wrong products on your skin type is a form of sensitive skin. Products that contain Vitamin C or Pumpkin seed oil my be sensitive for some and not for others.  So when purchasing products for sensitive skin be aware of  the ingredients in the products you choose..
