Natural Skin Care Products for African Americans Using Aromatherapy and Essential Oils
There’s nothing like a soothing soak in your bathtub. Using aromatherapy/essential oils is one way of creating a beautiful spa oasis. It also enables you to create the mood you would want to have within your environment.

The Art and Science of Aromatherapy is also how natural skin care products for African American Skin are often created.

Your bathroom regimens play a big part in your well being and after a hard days work, there’s nothing like sinking into a warm bath and soaking away all of your stress.

How Will You Choose Your Essential Oils For Your Bathroom/Spa Oasis?

Your choice of products can make all of the difference in your routine. Your personal touch would come if you understand and appreciate the use of essential oils.

But if it’s not something that you want to do, there are companies that will provide different products for you such as Nyraju Skin Care.

Simple aromatherapy products would be a beautiful shower gel. Having it scented with rose oil, amber, vanilla and sandalwood would give you a scent of pure pleasure.

One of the blends that we have is Sensual and although sensual gives the connotation of creating a night with your significant other, it also allows you to create a spa environment that you can relax and enjoy the blends of the oils that were a part of that fragrance.

If you understand and work with essential oils you can add 7-10 drops to your bath. Your choice of oils will determine whether or not you want it to be uplifting, relaxing, relieve stress or deal with congestion.

One of the key factors and main things to understand when using essential oils in the bathtub is that you never apply them to the water until it has stopped running and you are ready to immerse yourself into the tub.

Because they’re so volatile they will evaporate very quickly. So sometimes it’s even better to wait until you’re actually in the water and then you add the drops of essential oil that you’re going to use.

You’ll be creating a relaxing essential environment and what’s referred to as “healing waters.” It just depends on you and the purpose of your bath. With that you can add scented candles.

Different Oils Have Different Properties. Here are a few:

Cheerful Oils : Oils that are referred to as cheerful oils are Sage, Jasmine, Frankincense, Geranium or Neroli.

For Stress Relief: To relieve stress you would look for Lavender, Clary Sage and Rose.

Headache Relief: If you were in your tub because you’re challenged with a headache, certain essential oils that are said to relieve a headache would be Rosemary, Marjoram or Mint.

Want a Good Nights Sleep?: If you’re looking for something that’s really just going to help you relax and relieve the stress and help you sleep, Lavender and Chamomile are very good essential oils for those particular treatments.

Uplifting Oils: Oils that would really wake you up would be something like a Grapefruit and Orange oils.

Soaps - Another way to enjoy oils as part of your spa and bath oasis is soaps. Washing with soaps that have been made with essential oils is an effective way to use these oils to benefit your skin.

Not all soaps are good for your skin because a lot of them will actually dry your skin out.

But if you’re using a soap that’s been made with something like Shea Butter and you’re adding an essential oil, this soap will nourish your skin as you cleanse your body in the tub.

Massage/Body Oils - You can also to create certain massage/body oils. Once you’re out of your tub, you can massage your skin from foot to neck in order to lock in the moisture and to keep your skin from drying out.

These are some of the uses for aromatherapy and essential oils in your bathroom and your tub and when you want to create this spa oasis.

These are just some of the ways you can enjoy that time alone and you can make it a tub for two with your significant other.

But there's another new book on the shelves, Everyday Icon, by Kate Betts and it's all about Michelle Obama's Style of dress.

It gives us, the readers, a walk down memory lane of her Fashion Statements during and after the campaign of her husband, President Obama.
