Will Natural Hair Care Ever Die?

Will Natural Hair Care Ever Die?

Will Natural Hair Care Ever Die?

Natural Hair Care, Will It Ever Die?

Will natural hair care ever die? What a question. If you take a look at images from the temple walls of Egypt, you'll see the women caring for their natural hair. Don't be fooled by images that you're shown today. Images that have been lightened and brightened so that you'll think your kinky, curly, coily hair wasn't part of Egypt.

Everything from hair adornments, to combs, to essential oils are depicted on the temple walls showing the tender loving care for your beautiful natural hair. The slave trade of your ancestors shows the interruption in the love and care you had for your hair.

You weren't allowed to bring or lost your natural tool of adornment, your comb. In the writings of Willie Morrow in his book, 400 Years Without a Comb, he tells the story of how the comb represented an expression of its creator and reflected tribal status, family traditions or expressions of affection. Yet you've been taught that your hair as well as your skin is ugly.

Fast Forward

In the early 21st Century, an awakening is taking place. Many of you have gone from pressing, perming and inserting someone else's hair into your hair to wearing your natural crown and glory. Yes, your natural hair has become the perfect expression for you.

I have a client that wears her hair short and natural. She shared with me that a younger person had told her that her hair style "rocks". We both took that as a positive affirmation of beauty.

Why Wear Your Hair Natural?

It's been proven that when a black woman that has worn her hair relaxed/permed dies, there is a film found inside the skull and on the brain. This film is actually the result of chemicals that have seeped into the brain causing untold damage.

So, why would you wear your hair natural? You eliminate the possibility of chemical damage to your hair and scalp, as well as your energy body. The use of natural products is better for your hair. Natural ingredients and products made with natural ingredients are for nourishing, nurturing and replenishing the health of your hair and scalp.

The more natural your hair is worn the closer you'll be to the natural elements in nature. It's said that your natural hair, is antenna's that allow you to communicate in high spiritual places.

With the onslaught of stress coming at you on a daily basis, whether it's from your job or the environment, it plays a major role in the health or lack there of, in your hair.

To answer the question of Will Natural Hair Care Ever Die? No!! Will natural hair care always be a trend or fad? Possibly. It's also possible that if someone is threatened by your positive attitude as a result of you wearing your hair natural, you'll definitely see a push to ban the wearing of natural hair styles in certain job environments.

That's it for this week,

Dedicated To Your Beauty,

Juliette Samuel
